Corporate Functions
The Senators have a long tradition of performing at corporate functions. What better way to get a sales meeting going than the crash of a cymbal, or the boom of a drum, or even the wailing of brass!! The Senators can cater for your individual needs.
We recently provided 20 members to a corporate conference for Moben Kitchens, Sharps Bedrooms and Dolphin Bathrooms. The brief was that they wanted their National Sales Meeting to have the feel of a USA Presidential Convention, complete with confetti, cannons and straw hats!!
The "mini band" we provided consisted of 12 brass players, six percussionists and two flag bearers, and we performed the well known anthem "We shall not be moved", as that was the theme of their conference. The conference was held over two days at the ICC in Birmingham and we performed to over 1,200 delegates during that time.
The Senators have also performed at the Yamaha Expo, in Milton Keynes. Every year Yamaha hold the event for dealers, music industry representatives and also education establishments. This is a chance for them to showcase new products and innovations from the vast range Yamaha have.
The brief given was to provide the full Senators musical ensemble to welcome the delegates to the Expo. We performed a static concert of our 2005 Field Show music of 'Mission Impossible', 'The Incredibles' and 'James Bond'.
Whilst at the two day event the full ensemble performed at regular intervals during the day and our percussion section also provided a 30 minute "Master Class" on rudimental drumming on the indoor sound stage.
