Following last weekend's successful exhibition performance and clinic in Newport, the Senators are on the road again this week in preparation for the 'Drum Corps Europe' Championships in Rotterdam. The corps will arrive in Holland early Thursday morning, ready for two days rehearsal before the championships begin.
Students who attended the second clinic of the year hosted by the Senators, were greeted by guest instructor Gino Cipriani. Gino travelled to England last Friday and teamed up with the Senators staff to help steer the Senators, and in particular the Senators brass line, towards their first European championships.
Gino is the current brass caption supervisor of the nine-time Drum Corps International world champion, the Cadets, and the two-time Drum Corps Associates world champion, the Buccaneers. In the past Gino has also instructed with such notable corps as the ten-time DCI world champion Blue Devils, the six-time DCI world champion, the Santa Clara Vanguard and the five-time DCA world champion, the Brigadiers.
