Senators Drum & Bugle Corps
Press Release: Senators 2010 Open House Briefing
I am pleased to be able to advise that plans for the 2010 Senators Drum and Bugle Corps are at an advanced stage with many new initiatives and plans already committed too and actioned along with many more in the melting pot and almost ready to go.
With that in mind I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the first in a series of open house briefing meetings and informal get togethers which is taking place this weekend on Saturday 21st November with the primary function of releasing further information regarding the plans for the Senators Drum and Bugle 2010 summer season.

The schedule for the afternoon is going to be a fairly relaxed and laid back affair with an opportunity for everyone to interact and catch up in as much of a social environment as opposed to a full on rehearsal.
There are going to be some important announcements during the afternoon adding detail about the corps 2010 prospectus and focussing on a number of the following topics:
1 2010 “Just Add...”
a. Program planning progress update
b. Musical styles and genres
c. Blank Canvas “What can you Add”
d. The Importance of tradition in the modern Senators
2 Writers, Caption Head and Instructor appointments
3 Rehearsal Scheduling and member commitments
4 Summer Season Event and Competition Schedule
5 Membership Prospectus Pack
6 Senators Alumni Association Official Launch
Where?
The Pavilion on the Park
1 Kingfisher Road
Eastleigh
Hampshire
SO50 9LH
When? 12.30pm – 4.30pm
Whilst we understand that a Saturday might not be the ideal for a first meet we thought it right to release to meet and release as much information in relation to the Corps plans as early as possible in order to give both returning and prospective members and staff a real flavour of what lies ahead in the coming months.
It would be great to welcome as many Senators Alumni and their families along to the meeting to join with us in celebrating in a small way the last 25 years of the Senators.
Throughout the afternoon there will be various video presentations of previous years Senators performances along with hundreds of old photographs and other memorabilia which I am sure will stir a few memories.
Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon and I look forward to being able to share with you our plans for 2010.
